Deborah Busch, DNP, CPNP-BC has her doctorate degree in nursing and is a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Busch received her nursing degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, her Masters in Nursing/Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Gwynedd Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DPN) at Chatham University in Pittsburg, PA. Dr. Busch is also a Certified Lactation Consultant who developed a Baby Friendly breastfeeding program among eight collaborating pediatric offices in the Lehigh Valley area of PA. Dr. Busch holds an Assistant Professorship at University of Maryland in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Doctorate of Nursing Program.

 

Kathleen is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) who received her Master’s Degree in nursing from the University of Maryland.  She has had extensive work experience with pediatric and OB patients during her employment at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD.  Kathleen is also a Certified Lactation Consultant and works with new mothers to enhance the bonding and feeding experience with their newborns.  Kathleen lives in Maryland with her husband and two children.

 

Lauren is a Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).  She received her Master of Science Physician Assistant degree in 2015.  She joined Hanover Pediatric Associates in 2015, shortly after completing her clinical rotation through our office.  Lauren grew up and currently lives in the Hanover area.  She is an avid tennis player and competitive marathon runner.

 

Mary Kemper, a Physician Assistant (PA), received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA. After extensive rotations in different fields of medicine, Mary joined Hanover Pediatric Associates in 2001. Mary grew up in the York Springs area and continues to live in that area today where she enjoys the country life of horses, dogs and chickens with her husband and children.

 

Dr. Kae Jin Kim, MD is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been with HPA since 1996. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Kim has been a resident of the United States since 1984 and received his citizenship in 2000.

Dr. Kim began his academic career at Pennsylvania State University with a Masters Degree in Genetics. From there, he attended Temple University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the Yale-New Haven Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Kim also had a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In 2001, Dr. Kim became a licensed Medical Acupuncturist after attending UCLA School of Medicine, Medical Acupuncture for Physicians. He lives with his family in Maryland and has strong ties to the Korean communities there.

 

Dr. Melissa Lavallee joined the HPA family in 2004. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Lavallee attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at the University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina. She lives in the Hanover area where she enjoys gardening and camping with her husband and children.

 

Dr. Douglas Masucci, MD is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a founding partner of HPA. He and Alvaro Alandete, MD (now retired) combined their solo practices in 1995 and Hanover Pediatric Associates, P.C. was born. Dr. Masucci, a native of Brooklyn and a die-hard Yankees fan, attended the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his residency and training at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and completed an extra year of training when he was appointed a Hoffenfeffer Fellow, Chief Resident of Pediatrics at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Masucci practiced pediatrics primarily in New York State until he opened his solo practice in Hanover, PA in 1988. Dr. Masucci resides in Hanover.

 

Dr. Divay Chaudhry joined Hanover Pediatric Associates in the spring of 2018.  He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been a practicing pediatrician since 2014.  Dr. Chaudhry completed his pediatric residency training at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia 2013 and Kosair Children’s Hospital, University of Louisville (KY) in 2014 where he was a Pediatric ER Fellow. Dr. Chaudhry has recently relocated to the Hanover, PA area with his wife and child.

 

Dr. Andres Valdes-Dapena, MD joined the HPA team in 2000 after a successful career in pediatric medicine in suburban of Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and training at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD while on active duty with the United States Navy and served as a staff pediatrician at the Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan. Dr. Valdes-Dapena was board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1981 and recertified in 2009. Dr. Valdes-Dapena and his wife reside in Hanover.
