Dr. Kae Jin Kim is board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and has been with HPA since 1996. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, and has been a resident of the United States since 1984. He received his citizenship in 2000. Dr. Kim began his academic career at Pennsylvania State University where he received his master’s degree in genetics. From there, he attended Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. In 2001, Dr. Kim became a licensed medical acupuncturist after attending the UCLA School of Medicine Medical Acupuncture program. He lives with his family in Maryland and has strong ties to the Korean community there.
